Hi,
Can the tabbed part of the MirrorSync Layout be moved out into the grey area to the right of the layout so it's not seen by the user? I know there are a couple of 1x1 pixel web viewers and I guess they would remain on the layout.
It's not a big deal but I'd like for my users just to see the status field and sync buttons to keep it simple for them.

During and initial sync of ~5200 records from an 'images' table we received this error:

Ultimately we removed all records in the Images table and added them back to the spoke table 1000 at a time and were able to get them sync'd to the hub table.
We also routinely received this error but were able to sync again and complete the sync:

we updated from 3.1007 to 3.11 today, and uninstalled and reinstalled MirrorSync as well to no avail.

I'm just investigating on 2 issue I have on sync 2 DB, 1 on the server and 1 on the iPad that are set to use a Spoke Db in the middle tier.
Basically the sync is set to copy ALL the data from some tables on the server to the local db and send some data from the local db to the end server db. For some reason, on a large table, called Articles, with more than 130k records, the sync does not copy all the record for some users. There is no 'filter' based on user on the end db, and I run a pre-populate sync on the spoke db that copied all 130k records. When the sync is run for that specific user, the final result on the iPad is that the sync DELETES 12k records for no apparent reason.
In addition, there is a Global table that has always 1 records and is get from the server to the client. But I found some times that there are several records on that table (more than 10) on the server, even if the sync is set to write on the spoke and not viceversa for that table. I have the suspect that are written from the sync. Is it possible?

on mac mini server, fielmaker server 14 java 8 I can not go to the last step of the install. I've put the table, the scripts and the layout. After there is always the java runtime error and I can not go further. Can you help me ?

Is there a way to download the mirrorsync link directly on an iPad?
In my final workflow I'll send the link with the newest version and users will open it directly from the ipad. Is there any integration with even other 3rd parties software to download the file on the ipad and then run it from Filemaker?

I have a separation model setup that is working fine. I followed the directions, and the Mirrorsync Table was created in the Interface file but was moved to the Data file. MirrorSync scripts and layouts remained in Interface file.
After initial setup is there anything to be wary of when modifying schema, particularly if adding an additional table and corresponding sync layout?

Is there any way to trigger a script to increment a number field in the solution each time the solution is downloaded by a user?
Ideally the number would be incremented before the download.
My users download a full copy of the solution each time.

Can I use MirrorSync to Sync two servers and then use a serial number to generate the invoice number on only one of the servers.
Is there a way to 'quietly' import a specific set of records to the server, and not have those records sync to the clients?
It would be fine for the clients to get the records next time they need to download the solution, but they don't need to sync them.

Recently added new fields to the database in Filemaker 13 that is being synched to our Ipads. Ran setup in mirrorSync and copy and pasted the script into filemaker. Have done this in the past without issues, now we are not getting any errors and the new fields do not synch.
Anyone know what the impact is and/or the remedial steps if during a Repair a Spoke attempts a sync?

I believe this is a FileMaker error, passed thru by MirrorSync. Seems there's a FileMaker Server (15.02 under 10.12) corroborate?
And how's the best way to shutdown MS 3.11006? I have ghost connections I can't, but believe I should, terminate.

What is the best practice for retrieving the last sync timestamp? I want GO users to be aware of how much time has elapsed since their last sync as a reminder to sync often. I know the timestamp lives on the MirrorSync table, but I would have to make a new occurrence of the MirrorSync table and relate it to all the tables that have layouts that contain the timestamp which seems awkward.
If I can get a timestamp of the last sync in a global field, I can run it through a custom function that outputs the time ago in words (e.g. 3 hours ago, or 5 minutes ago, etc.), and put it on my interfaces.

I m stuck with the "Error 802: Unable to open file file" error with 360Works MirrorSync.
I have duplicated my .fmp12 database. Restarted FM Server 14. I see my database under the Activity / DB tab in the Admin console. All serviced are actives including XML.
I have double check the security options for All Privileges form my user admin account... but I still get this error 802 after I choose my new database from the MirrorSync / FileMaker Server screen. I see the database (the new and the old one), but when I click on "Next" I get the attached error message.
I've also tried to redo the security policies from scratch, deactivated all data services and activated back again...
I'm using MirrorSync 2.5

Is there a recommended procedure for backing up MirrorSync Server installations in case of, say, serious hardware failure?
I can see reinstalling and reconfiguring can be done fairly painlessly, but it seems possible data collected on remote clients may become orphaned if the original MirrorSync Server data cannot be recovered.

We are monitoring the /Library/360Works/Application/logs/Mirrorsync.yyyy-mm-dd.log file to understand what/where our server is at. We currently have 6 spokes syncing but they are apparently not getting anywhere. We see a recurrence of the below over and over again. Of course the IP address is just one of the 6. Generally what are we seeing here?
